Sardar Yaqoob Khan, President AJK, calls on the President

26 August: Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob, President AJK, called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr today. The President felicitated him on assuming important responsibilities as the President of AJK and joining the ranks of distinguished politician who have had the honor of discharging duties as Prime Minister as well as the President of the state. He said that his victory was yet another achievement of Pakistan Peoples Party and a true reflection of peoples confidence and support for the Party.The President expressed the hope that his tenure would bring qualitative change in the lives of the people of the area and he would work for the well-being of the masses taking along all the political leadership with him in his efforts while upholding our principled stand on the issue of Jammu & Kashmir.
